The Lunatic of Zirma / Kate Hawley's mentorship

The Lunatic of Zirma, 
based on Italo Calvino’s novel Invisible Cities. 
This was done during Kate Hawley's mentorship. What an honour it was to learn from her!
I’ve always loved Victorian era costumes and have been thinking about creating some characters for my portfolio for quite a while. This project turned into a great opportunity to research and learn more about the subject under Kate Hawley's guidance.
This year has been all about exploring new workflows for me. Everything was modelled, except for the human base, and then painted.
I’ve also been wanting to create an NPC type character for my portfolio, and I imagined him as someone you might encounter on a cornice while exploring the city of Zirma in a game like Dishonored.
